This 60 minute Investigating School Threats on Social Media webinar is designed to teach law enforcement personnel how to quickly act on threats against a school. Law enforcement is often tasked with a social media post that reads something similar to "Don't come to school tomorrow" but rarely taught how to track down the original creator of the content. Students will be shown how to identify the creator of the content by first executing an emergency disclosure to the most popular social media platforms. Students will then be shown what sort of information they will receive back in an emergency disclosure and how to take this information to identify and locate the creator of the threat.
This course is taught by an active law enforcement detective and is restricted to law enforcement employees.
The content taught in this course is applicable to any law enforcement employee to include but not limited to detectives, patrol officers, crime analysts, dispatchers, school resource officers, internal affairs, vice/narcotics etc.

“One of the most relevant training classes I’ve had in 21 years. Found a missing juvenile this morning using some of the resources you provided.” Corona, California Student 2022
“Honestly, this is one of the best course I have taken. It is extremely practical, and you cut out a lot of the BS that LE courses tend to come with. No BS just good knowledge. I can't think of anything else that you didn't cover. This is so much good new content that I spent a lot of time on typing out notes, so I can go over the notes again.” Corona, California Student 2022
“A lot of valuable information was presented in a very short period of time. I truly found the class beneficial and would highly recommend it to all police personnel as the trend has become that more crime is being committed with clues and evidence located on the internet and woven into social media.” Shelton, CT Student 2022
