This 90 minute Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) course is designed to introduce law enforcement officers to the fundamentals of OSINT and equip them with the skills and knowledge necessary to leverage open source data to enhance their investigations. OSINT is a rapidly evolving field that provides law enforcement professionals with a powerful toolset for gathering, analyzing, and utilizing publicly available information to support investigations and operations. This course is taught by an active law enforcement detective and is restricted to law enforcement employees. Law enforcement is quick to use paid databases to try and locate their suspects, witnesses and victims, however exploiting open source intelligence is often over looked and one of the quickest ways to quickly find phone numbers, addresses, relatives, etc. Whether you are trying to find a homeowner's phone number on an "open door" call, or trying to find your homicide suspect, students will learn how to exploit open source intelligence. The content taught in this course is applicable to any law enforcement employee to include but not limited to patrol officers, detectives, dispatchers, school resource officers, background investigators, internal affairs, vice/narcotics etc.

“Honestly, this is one of the best course I have taken. It is extremely practical, and you cut out a lot of the BS that LE courses tend to come with. No bullshit just good knowledge. I can't think of anything else that you didn't cover. This is so much good new content that I spent a lot of time on typing out notes, so I can go over the notes again.” Corona, California Student 2022
“A lot of valuable information was presented in a very short period of time. I truly found the class beneficial and would highly recommend it to all police personnel as the trend has become that more crime is being committed with clues and evidence located on the internet and woven into social media.” Shelton, CT Student 2022
