The Proactive Social Media Investigations course is an intensive two-day training designed to equip law enforcement personnel with the skills and knowledge necessary to conduct effective investigations using social media. This course focuses on proactive techniques, starting with the creation and management of undercover social media profiles, and progressing to advanced investigative strategies.

Day 2: Conducting Investigations

• Methods for identifying and monitoring relevant activity.
• Tools and techniques for data extraction and analysis.

• Strategies for uncovering hidden connections and networks.
• Utilizing social media to corroborate information and track movements.
• Documenting Evidence and Building a Case:
• Best practices for preserving digital evidence.
• Creating detailed reports that stand up in court.
• Case Studies and Real-World Applications:
• Analysis of successful social media investigations.
• Lessons learned and practical applications.
